Giant clam shell adze
The handle was harvested from the Banalu tree also known as the Pacific Rosewood. The giant clam shell blade is lashed to the handle using a coconut rope.
The CNMI Legislature will be hosting the Mariana Islands Legislature Association (MILA) 3rd General Assembly this year (2026). As a result, the NMI Legislature Leadership will present the above artwork as a gift to the Guahan Legislature Leadership.
